A lot of my clients come to me because they suffer with back pain. They're usually referred to me by their osteopath, chiropractor or physio. Yoga not only helps relieve the back pain, but it can also prevent the pain in the first place. It's not just yoga teachers that think that yoga can really do wonders for your back and spine health, scientific studies back it up and have proven that yoga is highly beneficial for improving overall strength and health in that area.
Back pain is something that most of us have experienced at some point, and it can cause additional problems like pain in the hips or knees. A regular yoga practice can improve our posture, which reduces the strain on our back muscles and helps alleviate pain and discomfort.
As we get older, our bodies become more prone to injuries but by doing yoga regularly, we can maintain the strength and flexibility in our backs, which can help prevent future injuries.
Our bodies tend to become less flexible as we age, leading to stiffness and discomfort. But with regular yoga practice, we can improve our flexibility, range of motion, and balance, keeping us feeling younger and more agile. Added bonus that yoga also helps with mental health and can help reduce stress and anxiety levels. Win win. So, if you want to improve your back and spine health, prevent injuries, and reduce stress and tension, yoga is the way to go. With regular practice, you'll have a healthier, more vibrant body and mind. Why not join me for a class!
